Dr. Kyle Todd was born in Huntsville, Texas. His family later moved to a small Northeast Texas town where Dr. Todd went to high school. He then attended Sam Houston State University, where he met and fell in love with his wife, Stacey, a graduate of Cy-Fair High School. The Todd’s have two boys, Kason and Kannon and a little girl, Tinsley. The kids keep them very busy! They are involved in sports, and Dr. Todd is actively involved as Coach. Dr. Todd has a true passion for his family and enjoys spending his free time with them.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Todd earned his dental degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio Health Science Center.
Dr. Todd and his staff understand that most people don’t enjoy going to the dentist, they are busy, and they have budget concerns regarding the dental treatment they need and desire. Stacey grew up here in Cypress, Texas, where she graduated from Cy-Fair High School. She began her continuing education at Sam Houston State University, where she met her husband, Kyle (Dr. Todd). She finished her education at UTSA in San Antonio, earning her degree in Early Childhood Education while Dr. Todd was in Dental School. Stacey taught Pre-K for two years and 1st grade for a year before beginning her career in dentistry. What she loves most about her job is working with people and helping them get healthy. She also loves getting to work closely with her husband every day!
Stacey and Kyle have three kids that keep them very busy! You can find them on the ball fields for practice almost every night of the week and on weekends for games! In her free time she loves to run and do CrossFit, as well as going out to eat and going to the movies with Kyle. Stacey truly loves living and working in this community. She enjoys the friends and connections she’s made over the years. “The people here are truly amazing!”
Cynthia is whom you will meet when you first enter our office. She is our Insurance Coordinator and has been with Dr. Todd since 2013. Cynthia received her general studies education from Prairie View A&M University and Lone Star College, has been in the dental field for over 20 years and in the medical field since 1989. Certified in CPR and Basic Life Support, as well as HIPAA, you can rest assured you’re in good hands with Cynthia.
For Cynthia, the best part of this job is interacting with patients, researching insurance information, and challenging insurance companies to do as they are expected. She really is your oral health advocate! She wants all her patients to know they should use their insurance benefits if they have them. Not going to the dentist is not only harmful for your oral and overall health, but it also benefits your insurance company as they pocket your unused expenses. Regular oral hygiene is essential to overall health care, and your insurance benefits are there to help you get the care you need!
Cynthia is a Texas native, born in Dallas and moved to Houston permanently in 1986. She is married with a blended family, including a 30-year-old, 12-year-old, and a 10-year-old granddaughter. She loves spending time with her family, doing fun activities like water sports and vacations on the water. In her spare time, she’s an avid DIY home project Queen and loves restoring furniture, shopping for her home, and staying active in her community as President of her HOA.
Liliana is Texas raised, moved from California at the age of 5. She graduated from Mayde Creek High School in Katy, Texas, and received her certification as a Registered Dental Assistant from the National School of Dental Assistants in 2015. Liliana is current with her CPR certification and her continuing education.
Her levels of expertise include orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Liliana loves being a part of the journey as patients embark on the road to their new and improved smile. She enjoys learning new things and being up to date with the newest technology and assisting patients to a happier and healthy smile. The year 2019 will make 4 years and counting that she has been assisting with Dr. Todd. She first began as an intern and has advanced to his lead dental assistant. From ordering supplies and assisting with patients Liliana enjoys her time working at Cypress Springs Family Dentistry.
In her free time, Liliana enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, and viewing the beautiful countryside when she goes horseback riding. Her first love is horses so when she is not at the office you can find her in a ranch or competition.
Mary Jo is one of our full time dental hygienists, and the team member that has been with our practice the longest. Born and raised in New Jersey, Mary Jo received her Dental Hygiene License after graduating from Union College, then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981. After living and practicing in New Jersey, Michigan and Virginia, Mary Jo and her family moved to Texas in 2003.
Mary Jo has been actively practicing dental hygiene for 40 years, and the best part of this job for her is treating patients that have become friends over the years. She has worked in many dental practices and in a variety of settings and specialties. She is a member in good standing of the Greater Houston Dental Hygienists Society, the Texas Dental Hygienists Association and the American Dental Hygienists Association. Mary Jo is an Expanded Functions RDH, and is certified in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Pit and Fissure Sealants, and CPR.
Married for over 30 years, she and her husband have an adult son that lives in Austin. In her free time, Mary Jo enjoys running and fitness, cooking and sewing, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Whitney was born in Asia in the Philippines and is native of Shreveport, Louisiana and currently lives in the Cypress area here in Texas. Whitney is one of 3 girls and happens to be the middle of the trio. She attended Southern University A&M College where she completed biology undergraduate coursework to cross enroll at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where she received her Associate of Biological Sciences Degree in Dental Laboratory Technology and endorsed SU degree. She then received her Registered Dental Assistant License at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX in 2014.
Whitney has been in the dental field for 7 years and counting. She is very energetic, friendly, and passionate when it comes to dentistry. She can talk to any person and engage in what the patients need. Whitney is very organized and particular when it comes to scheduling and planning dental cases. This is where she is Dr. Todd’s right hand in being in sync with preparing the smoothest dental process from beginning to end. From treatment planning, coordinating, to assisting Dr. Todd, it is a complete joy for her. A day in the life of her at the office includes a little bit of it all. She can be found assisting with Dr., treatment coordinating, planning a financial option, or maintaining the flow between the clinic and front office. She has a passion for chair-side assisting and helping others.
Whitney has no kids at the moment, but plans to have some in the future. She is married to the love of her life who is a Civil Engineer. She loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, playing with her nephew, and eating at different restaurants. There is nothing like Louisiana food, but Houston has been worth the try. She is also certified in CPR (since 2011), OSHA Safety/HIPAA trained, and up to date with continuing education.
Selena is one of our outstanding Dental Hygienists. She is originally from the Jersey Village area and currently resides in Houston. Selena received her Associate of Science from Lone Star College in 2016, and her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2018 from the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center. She is also certified in CPR, and her favorite part of this job is getting to know her patients and meeting their oral healthcare needs.
Selena is the middle child of a family of 4, and the only one of her siblings that chose to be in the dental field. When she’s not in the office helping patients, she enjoys spending with her nieces and nephews, traveling and visiting Mexico to see her family, running, and spending after hours time with coworkers who have become friends. Selena is bilingual and extends her caring nature into the community with her passion for volunteering and giving back.
Cindy is one of our amazing Registered Dental Assistants. She is originally from Victoria, TX and moved to Houston at the age of 13. Cindy graduated from the Academy of Healthcare Professionals in 2009 and became CPR certified in 2015. The best part of this job for Cindy is working closely with Dr. Todd to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Cindy has 5 kids, 2 of which are away at college at Texas State—Go Bobcats! When she’s not in the office helping patients, she and her family love baseball, including playing in their own games and going to watch games. Cindy’s favorite player is Jake Marisnick of the Houston Astros. She also loves trying out new eateries and Tex Mex food (and watching the Food Network with Bobby Flay!), spending time with her kids and working out at the gym. She is eager to learn new things when it comes to dentistry and her continuing education.
